Biography:
Claudio Cerchione graduated in medicine with honours from the Medical School at the University Federico II of Naples, Italy (July 2008). During his Fellowship and PhD studies, Dr. Cerchione carried out research under my supervision in the Division of Hematology at University Federico II of Naples, Italy, from July 2009 until now: he studied in detail Hematological malignancies, and his main research interests are relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma and myelodysplastic syndromes. He started his collaboration in Hematology Department, AOU Federico II, Naples, Italy, in 2006, and there he completed with honours his Fellowship in July 2014 and is now attending last year of his PhD program. He also has spent one year in Friedrich-wilhelms universität, Bonn, Germany collaborating in their Hematology Department, and one month in Universitade de Coimbra, Portugal, collaborating in their clinical and research projects. Actually, he is co-responsible of MGUS and Mutiple Myeloma in our clinical and research division and of clinical trials in Multiple Myeloma.
