Dr. Zou graduated from Hunan University in 2004 with a B.Sc. degree and received a PhD degree in analytical chemistry at the State Key Laboratory of Chemo/Biosensing and Chemometrics in Hunan University in 2010. She has taken postdoctoral research in the Key Laboratory of Luminescent and Real-Time Analytical Chemistry and College of Pharmaceutical Science in Southwest University during 2013-2015. She is currently a lecture of College of Pharmaceutical Science in Southwest University. Dr. Zou was awarded for Chongqing Postdoctoral Science Foundation funded project in 2014 and Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities in 2016.
Her research interests are on (1) the chemometrics application such as mulity-way calibrations for the quantitative pharmaceutical analysis in complex systems, Quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) studies and data mining; (2) production and applications of nanoparticles for biosensing.

2. Synthesize Copper Chalcogenides nanocrystals for biosensing and ‘Click’ cycloaddition;
3. Theoretical simulation of nanomaterials;
4. Analyte detection by specific designed resonance energy transfer systems.
