Samad Jahandideh is a R&D Data Scientist with extensive training in personalized predictive modelling. After graduation, Samad did a postdoctoral fellowship in Department of Biostatistics at University of Alabama. Then, he moved to Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, La Jolla, CA. Now, he is a Data Scientist at Origent Data Sciences, Inc. Samad has over 10 years of experience in predictive modelling using machine learning and statistical learning technologies. I have developed multiple longitudinal models for prediction of ALS progression. These models are internally and externally validated. Also, in collaboration with Pharma companies and ALS Clinics he prospectively evaluated predictive models in clinical trial and clinic settings, respectively. Also, he has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters in the field of applied machine learning and bioinformatics. He is a Co-Investigator of multiple active research funding from NIH and ALS Association.
Research Interest: Predictive modelling of clinical trial, Survival analysis, Longitudinal data mining, Big data science, Machine learning, Bioinformatics, Data mining, Neurodegenerative diseases modelling, Molecular modelling and molecular dynamics, Structural genomics, de novo Protein design.
