Rati Kailash Prasad Tripathi, Ph.D., joined the College of Pharmacy, Teerthanker Mahaveer University as Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2016. She was awarded B. Pharm. (2009) from Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science, Indore (affiliated to RGPV Bhopal), India. She received her M. Pharm. with Honours (2011) and Ph.D. (2016) with specialization in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India. She is the recipient of GATE, GPAT and ICMR-Senior Research Fellowship. Her areas of research interest include synthetic medicinal chemistry, neuropharmacology, computational chemistry and molecular biology to understand the mechanism of action of novel neurotherapeutic agents including preclinical evaluation of new chemical entities. She has published various articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
Research Interest: Synthetic medicinal chemistry-conventional and microwave-assisted organic synthesis of small bio-active molecules, computational chemistry and molecular modelling-drug design and discovery of heterocyclic lead compounds and their optimization, preclinical evaluation of new chemical entities.
