I received Master’s degree (2006) in Chemistry with specialization in Biochemistry from ICS, University of Peshawar. Soon after the completion of MSc I joined HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry University of Karachi as a junior research fellow and worked there for two years on protein engineering.

In 2009 I received a PhD fellowship jointly from World Academy of Science (TWAS) & Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). I completed PhD in Biochemistry from Federal University of Ceara, Brazil in February 2014. During PhD I got expertise in proteomics with emphasis on proteomics of oilseeds. Following PhD I won two consecutive post-doctorate fellowships (2014-2015) and (2015-2016) where I worked with advanced proteomic techniques applied to the study of the biology of commercially important oilseeds.

I worked two years as an Assistant Professor (2016-2018) in Abdul Wali Khan University  Mardan, Pakistan. In 2019 I joined Department of Biochemistry, Bahauddin Zakariya University,  Multan, as an assistant professor and since then working on this position.

Research Interest: Proteomics applied to plants and bacterias.
