Dr. Xuan Zhang, earned her M.D. degree from the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China in 1993 and obtained a master degree in Imaging Medicine in 1998. In 2005, she obtained Ph.D. degree in neuroscience from University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), USA and subsequently a postdoctoral fellow (2005-2007) with Dr. Willis in the Department of Neuroscience at UTMB. Since 2007, she joined National Center of Toxicological Research (NCTR) in Division of Neurotoxicology as a staff fellow. She is successful as a principal investigator (P.I.) in obtaining and directing extramural funding for Interagency Agreements designed to allow investigation of problems of national/international scope that are of concern to both the FDA and collaborating government agencies.
