Sebastian Fetscher, MD PhD is an internist specializing in hematology and oncology; medical school training was received in Heidelberg and Freiburg Germany, as well as in San Antonio, Texas, USA and Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. From 1989-1993 Dr Fetscher was trained in Internal Medicine at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, USD. From 1993-2000 he completed his training in hematology and oncology. Since 2001 he is the director of the Division of Hematology, Oncology, Immunology and stem cell transplantation at the Sana Hospital, Lübeck, Germany. He has works as teaching staff at the universities of Freiburg, Dresden and Lübeck, Germany. His research focuses on autologous stem cell transplantation. He has published papers in scientific journals including Annals of Hematology, Annals of Oncology, Blood etc. He also serves as a reviewer of several journals.
