I was born in 1976 in the Eastern region of Turkey. Igraduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. Afterwards, I  had General Surgery speciality training in Baskent University Faculty of Medicine between 2003-2008. During speciality training, I learnt the details of liver and kidney transplantation from Dr. Mehmet Haberal who is worldwide known in organ transplantation. Right after this, I  started my medical and academic practice in Diyarbakır Education  and Research Hospital. I had post-speciality training for liver transplantation between 2011-2012 in Inonu University Faculty of Medicine Liver Transplantation Institute which is one of the most important center of the world on liver . I was granted membership in International College of Surgeons (FICS) in 2012 and in American College of surgeons (FACS) in 2013.  I wrote 126 articles during the last six years period and nearly 90 of these were published in journals indexed by SCI and SCIE. The most of my articles are about hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery, liver transplantation, Hydatid disease and appendiceal diseases. I am still working as an Associate Professor at the  Department of Surgery and Liver Transplant Institute, Inonu University Faculty of Medicine, Malatya, Turkey. I particularly working on hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, living donor hepatectomy and colorectal cancer surgery.
